Seasonal Greetings from Renewal Room

Hi Everyone,

As the year winds down, we wanted to take a moment to reach out and say Happy Everything. Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, or simply the impressive feat of making it through another year—we see you, and we’re sending you all the good vibes. You deserve a season filled with peace, rest, and hopefully zero awkward conversations at the dinner table.

A Little Seasonal Humor...

Because let’s be honest, we could all use a laugh before the festivities hit full gear:

  • Why did the ornament go to therapy? It had a lot of "hang-ups."

  • What do you call an inclusive snowman? A "Chill Individual."

  • What is a New Year’s resolution? Something that goes in one year and out the other.

  • My New Year’s resolution is to stop procrastinating. I’m going to start working on that... tomorrow. Or maybe February.

2026: The Year of Growth

While we are taking this time to reflect, we are also incredibly excited for what’s next. 2026 is going to hold many more exciting moments for Renewal Room! As we turn the page into the New Year, please be on the lookout for:

  • Updated Practice Terms: Ensuring we continue to provide the best possible care and clarity.

  • Practice Growth: I’ll be sharing updates on how I am expanding and growing the practice to better serve you.

You can stay in the loop and follow our journey at renewalroom.biz

Winter Reflection: Optional Exercise

If you find yourself with a quiet moment between the festivities, here are two ways to check in with yourself:

1. The "Low-Pressure" Vision Board Instead of a giant poster board, try a "Digital Vision Board." Grab your phone, create a new photo album named "2026 Vibes," and fill it with 5-10 screenshots of things that make you feel peaceful, strong, or inspired. No glue sticks required!

2. A Journal Prompt for the Soul “If I could give my 2025 self one giant hug and one piece of advice, what would that advice be, and how can I carry it into 2026?”

A Note on Wellness & Support

The holidays can be a lot. If things feel heavy or you just need a friendly ear, please know that you don't have to carry it alone.

  • Ohio CareLine (Warm Line): Call 1-800-720-9616 for free, confidential emotional support from trained professionals.

  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Dial or text 988 anytime (24/7) to connect with people who can help.

  • Crisis Text Line: Text 4HOPE to 741741 to connect with a Crisis Counselor.

  • The Trevor Project (LGBTQ+ Support): Call 1-866-488-7386 or text START to 678-678.

Thank you for being a part of this community. We hope your upcoming weeks are filled with warmth, rest, and at least one really great nap.

With gratitude,

Jessica Fisher Cross MSW, LISW-SUPV
