Important Practice Notices: Your Guide to Renewal Room
We believe in transparency and making sure you feel completely comfortable and informed on your journey with us. This section is designed to answer those important logistical and policy questions, so you can focus on what truly matters: your well-being.
Confidentiality & Privacy: Your Story, Your Rules
Your privacy is paramount. Everything we discuss in our sessions is confidential, a sacred trust between us. We adhere to strict ethical and legal guidelines (including HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) to protect your personal health information. We'll go over the full details of our Notice of Privacy Practices during our initial sessions, ensuring you understand your rights and how your information is kept safe. Rest assured, your story stays with us.
Fees & Payment: Investing in Your Well-being
We believe investing in your mental well-being is one of the best choices you can make! Here’s how we handle the practical side of things:
-
Self-Pay Rate: Our rate for individual therapy sessions is $150.
-
Reduced Rates: We understand that life's expenses can sometimes feel like a game of Jenga. We offer a limited number of reduced rate slots based on need. Please don't hesitate to discuss this with us during your consultation call if finances are a concern.
-
Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards for your convenience. Payment is typically due at the time of service.
Insurance: Navigating the Maze (With a Compass!)
We're currently in-network with a growing list of insurance providers, aiming to make your journey to well-being a little lighter on the wallet.
More insurance companies are joining our crew soon, so if you don't see yours listed, please ask! We're always expanding our network to help more awesome humans like you. It's always a good idea to contact your insurance provider directly to confirm your specific mental health benefits.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy: The "Heads Up!" Rule
We understand that life happens, and sometimes things pop up unexpectedly. However, your session time is reserved just for you! To keep our Renewal Room flowing smoothly, we have a 24 -hour cancellation policy.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least [Your Cancellation Window] in advance to avoid a [Insert Your Cancellation Fee, e.g., $50, or full session fee] fee.
-
"No-shows" (missed appointments without prior notification) will be charged the full session fee.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, as this allows us to offer the slot to another client seeking support.
Contacting Your Therapist Between Sessions: Keeping in Touch
We're here to support you, but it's important to set clear expectations for communication outside of our scheduled sessions.
-
Non-Urgent Communication: For scheduling questions, billing inquiries, or non-urgent messages, please use email, work numbers, or the portal to reach out to your clinician. We aim to respond within 24-48 business hours.
-
Emergencies/Crises: Please remember, the Renewal Room is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, feeling unsafe, or need immediate support, please do not wait for a response from us.
